ARTIST STATEMENT
My paintings develop slowly in the course of time by chance and intuition, by adding several thin layers of oil color
one upon the other. Brushstrokes on the canvas are visual traces of my thoughts, of the time spent in front of the
painting, in the world of concentration and contemplation.
In my paintings inner experiences and emotions are often loosely related to physical events, objects and spaces -
changes of the weather, passing of time - or visual elements, spaces and forms seen in architecture and in nature.
